Resources SAVED by recycling: Recycling is creating value<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Through our work, together with our customers, we contribute to the preservation of valuable resources and climate protection. The renowned Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety and Energy Technology UMSICHT supports the positive ecological effects of this obligation in regular studies.<\/h2>\n

[\/vc_custom_heading][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=”601835″]In its annual study \u201cresources SAVED by recycling\u201d, the Fraunhofer Institute UMSICHT calculates the extent to which the environment has been helped by Interzero\u2019s recycling services.<\/p>\n

In 2024 alone, this study showed that\u00a01.9 million tonnes of resources were handled by closed-loop systems<\/strong>\u00a0run by Interzero\u2019s companies such as Interzero in Germany, Austria, Poland; Italy and Slovenia, saving around\u00a08.09 million tonnes of primary raw materials<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This corresponds to the weight of over four million SUVs. At the same time, Interzero’s recycling activities avoided a total of\u00a01.04 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions<\/strong>.
