Made for Recycling - analysis of recycling possibilities
As the name suggests, at Made for Recycling we deal with the possibility of recycling your packaging. This is a scientifically based assessment method that was developed together with the environmental institute BIFA and tested by the experts of the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV. We carry out this laboratory packaging analysis in Maribor at the Interzero competence center.
With very good recyclability, your packaging can be certified with the seal of approval “Made for Recycling” . This way you can also prove your commitment to sustainability to your customers!

This is exactly where our Made for Circle process comes into play. We work with you to design your packaging so that we can deliver optimized packaging upon completion.
Made for Circle - start optimizing
The packaging optimization process can be divided into six phases, which we set up for you in a modular manner. In the first phase, we deal with the analysis of your packaging, that is, we check the possibility of recycling and use the already recognized Made for Recycling process.
At the end of the entire process, after successful optimization, we offer you the possibility of certification, which is visible with the “Made for Recycling” approval mark.

Integrated material flow management – your competitive advantage
Basically, circular concepts support sustainable economic growth while trying to reduce the consumption of primary raw materials.
As raw materials are becoming rarer and more expensive , operational management of material flows is becoming more and more important for companies. Interzero experts develop complete waste management concepts for the retail, industrial and service sectors with the aim of reducing the flow of materials in production, reducing the impact on the environment and returning used raw materials to the business cycle.
A practical example: car companies in Germany sell their scrap metal and buy new metals for production. That's where Interzero comes in, which with logistics and process solutions ensures that raw materials remain in the company's possession and are reused. The result is a closed material loop that is constantly restarting.
An excellent proof that perfect circular solutions can be created in our area is the Donat brand (Atlantic Group), which with the help of Interzero Slovenia and Alpla Slovenia creates a 100% recycled bottle.
The resulting loop, shown below, enables Donat and Atlantic Grupa to use waste packaging even after the consumer throws it away. It is Interzero that delivers sufficient amounts of waste green PET packaging and recycles it with the help of partners, as shown in the picture.
