Our employees in your store and shopping center will collect the packaging personally from customers or from the device for automatic packaging collection. This way of working makes handing over packaging to your customers simpler, faster and more pleasant, and reduces the possibility of receiving defective packaging that is not in the Fund’s system, thus reducing the costs of receiving such packaging to a minimum. Interzero assumes the Fund’s fines for taking over packaging that is not in the Fund’s system. Our employees are educated and friendly and professional in contact with your customers.

We are looking for more executors to work on the acceptance of packaging for seasonal needs throughout the country.

The company Interzero d.o.o. is authorized to mediate waste disposal and is registered in the MZOPU Register (solution MZOPU RH rb 0008; Class 351-02/13-23/61). We operate in accordance with Croatian legal regulations : the Law on Sustainable Waste Management (Official Gazette 94/13), the Ordinance on Waste Management (Official Gazette No. 23/14) and the Ordinance on Packaging and Packaging Waste (Official Gazette No. 97/05, 115/ 05, 81/08, 31/09, 156/09, 38/10, 10/11, 81/11 and 126/11, 38/13, 86/13).

If necessary, in order to fulfill the service to clients , we provide adequate tanks and containers for the storage and transportation of waste.

Our goal is to achieve the most environmentally acceptable way of disposal or recycling and the most economically acceptable solution for the client.

Hazardous waste

We offer you solutions for the removal, reception and handling of waste that is generated as a result of the performance of activities in larger companies or that is generated during the performance of individual craft activities, such as:

• car service, body shops,
• photography studio,
• printers,
• carpentry workshops,
• medical institutions.

Some examples of hazardous waste: waste paints, solvents, acids, emulsions, motor oils, absorbents, cleaning cloths, protective clothing, packaging contaminated with residues of hazardous substances, waste adhesives, photochemicals, color developers, coatings, thinners, infectious waste.

For each type of waste, we provide you with waste labels, appropriate containers for collection, and we find a favorable offer for waste management. After receiving the waste, you will receive records and weighing. We also advise you on the establishment of a record of submitted waste and the submission of an annual report on the generated waste in the company.

Expired food and biological waste

We offer importers, traders and other producers of biological waste one-time or periodic waste removal when:

• Expired food products
• Biodegradable kitchen waste
• Waste edible oils and fats

We provide you with all the necessary equipment for waste collection, organize removal, collection and provide all documentation – records, weighing and other certificates depending on the type of destruction. By special prior agreement, we also carry out commission destruction of waste.

As the only recognized research institution in the EU specializing in the development and analysis of recycled plastics, the competent center has been internationally accredited according to the EN/ISO 17025 laboratory standard since March 2020 and has been officially approved for the implementation of a total of 16 analysis methods. The laboratory thus meets the needs of many industrial companies. The materials were tested according to international standards and internal methodology. We carry out technical evaluations of existing and newly developed plastics in accordance with the EU chemicals regulation REACH and EU guidelines. We offer highly professional direct advice and support:

• Development of new materials and optimization of processing
• Implementation of cost, energy and process optimization of production and material processing
• The analysis of the packaging with regard to the materials used and their recycling with the subsequent awarding of the trademark is carried out through the “Made for Recycling” service.

Our annual study “Resources SAVED by recycling” shows that recycling significantly relieves the environment – and makes an important contribution to securing raw materials. Valid numbers are a key factor in clarifying the benefits of recycling and thus supporting the circular transformation of the economy. In cooperation with Fraunhofer UMSICHT, we therefore prepare a comprehensive life cycle assessment every year. It enables precise quantification of savings in resources and greenhouse gas emissions.

Therefore, Interzero is only in 2022. saved more than 2.1 million tons of primary raw materials in Germany, Austria, Poland, Italy and Slovenia by recycling about 8.7 million tons of recyclable materials. At the same time, about one million million tons of greenhouse gases could be saved. This is comparable to a weight of 174. 267 family houses. In addition, it was possible to avoid the emission of about one million tons of greenhouse gases – which is equivalent to the average annual CO2 emissions from more than 100,000 family homes.
